Local Planning Areas (LPAs)
Local Planning is a forum for the development of partnerships that operate WorkFirst at the local level. Through communication, collaboration, resource sharing and continuous program improvement, the WorkFirst program has been successful in providing services that reflect local needs. Local Planning Areas (LPAs), are a part of the original WorkFirst legislation and continue to be a vital part of the success of WorkFirst.
There are thirty-two (32) LPAs that meet regularly to develop specific strategies and services to meet the needs of families while meeting WorkFirst performance targets. Link here to learn more about Local Planning Areas or link here to locate the LPA near you.
